Muir is a small independent kitchen designer with a workshop studio based in Edinburgh, owned and managed by expert craftsman Simon Muir.
With more than 20 years of expertise in bespoke kitchens, furniture design and manufacture, Muir designs and builds custom kitchens for residential as well as commercial customers, including architects and building contractors involved in projects across Scotland, London and throughout the UK.
Each Muir kitchen is unique, and we work closely with our clients to achieve the kitchen they have always dreamt of. From a free initial consultation to establish the basic design concept, layouts and 3D drawings are then created to help visualise the finished space. An outline of estimated costs is also provided at this time.
We listen to your ideas, and your often very specific requests for particular features and elements, develop them so they fit and work within the space, and then bring your bespoke kitchen to life at the hands of skilled craftsman Simon Muir. Muir can provide advice and recommendations on kitchen appliances, as well as contractors for water, gas and electricity. We work directly with clients and also with architects as part of a wider residential design project. Muir can manage the process from design through to manufacture and installation, or as part of a wider team depending on scale of the project.
